I don't actually watch a lot of TV...I do enjoy Downton Abbey and Doc Martin though (with forwarding or skipping parts, that is). And if BBC English dramas count then....too many to name. Wives and Daughters, Sense and Sensibility, North and South, etc. What are some of yours?

Oh, those sound interesting!! We like to watch a lot of Japanese shows so our favorites would be :Hunter x Hunter and Fullmetal Alchemist. We also like ABC's Once Upon a Time, BBC's Sherlock, Lost, and Avatar: the Last Airbender. Thanks for sharing, we will definitely have to check out some of those shows! P.S. I hear you on the skipping! Epic

Oh yes, BBC Sherlock! I forgot about that one. And yeah, I know - I wish there could be good, godly shows so you wouldn't have to forward/skip!

My favorite TV show is Doctor Who. It's a PG show, thankfully.

I probably watch more TV shows than movies. We love TV shows around here. Some of my favorites are Bonanza (the old Western), the old Daniel Boone series (yay for old, clean TV shows!), BBC Robin Hood, BBC Sherlock, Once Upon a Time, Merlin, Jericho, and The Last Ship. Oh, and Scorpion. I LOVE that show. And it's pretty clean. I don't remember that we skipped anything. I also watch a lot of crime dramas with my mom. I like Hawaii 5-O, The Blacklist, and The Mentalist. I'm probably forgetting others, but those are the ones that immediately come to mind. Edit: Oh yeah, and I really enjoy Downtown Abbey too.

I really need to watch some of these!!!! LadyJaye: I totally forgot about Bonanza! We haven't watched it recently but we used to watch episodes on end! I also like I Love Lucy, but like Bonanza I haven't watched it recently. BladeSpinnerRae: It's always great to find a show that is good and clean!! EvilAuthorAddyson: I've only watched a few episodes of Doctor Who but it looked really interesting!! ~Epic~

... EvilAuthorAddyson: I've only watched a few episodes of Doctor Who but it looked really interesting!! ~Epic~ You should totally watch Doctor Who! It's awesome. And there's the fact that it's still going on and could still go on for as long as humans have imagination, which is cool. I really like Merlin, too, which is probably my second favorite TV show, and I still haven't recovered from Arthur's death. I like Once Upon a Time, but the writers are running out of ideas, which is sad. I watched BBC Sherlock too, but it's not as good as Doctor Who and Merlin. We haven't watched BBC's Robin Hood yet, though we plan to. Jaye, I think with all the BBC you watch, you would love Doctor Who. The characters in it are amazing, and the Doctor is emotionally scarred (who doesn't like emotionally scarred characters?)

I know, I should watch it. Eventually I'll get around to it.
Oh, and to specify, I love the first two seasons of Robin Hood. I did NOT like season three. :/

My brothers watched Merlin and really liked it but I have as yet to sit down and watch an episode. I agree with Once Upon a Time, I really did like it but I feel like we are moving in circles with the plot. Anyways, I need to make a list of all these shows...and some popcorn! ~Epic~

TV shows! Ah!
First off... I used to watch a ton of Doctor Who. I still enjoy it, but the first 4 seasons of 2005 on are the best in my opinion. Although, 5 & 6 are great too. Idk.
The Blacklist! Love that show so much. (Alright, yeah, I have to skip some parts...but overall, it's amazingly plotted and written and the acting is great. The storyline and plot are really thick.)
Once Upon A Time! I'm only on season 2, but I'm really enjoying it. *sigh* I love Belle.

That was several years ago, so we need to find a way to watch them again sometime... Have you seen The Rifleman? Those are good, clean, old, televishion shows, too.

I've got all of the Daniel Boone series on DVD. Trust me, it was NOT easy since they are no longer "in print" so to speak. I thought I'd never get season six (it was like $200-$300 on eBay at one point ). But then I found it for $50 and snatched it up to complete the collection. I have yet to watch The Rifleman. Hopefully I can sometime. The Blacklist! Love that show so much. (Alright, yeah, I have to skip some parts...but overall, it's amazingly plotted and written and the acting is great. The storyline and plot are really thick.) Isn't it great? I just love watching Red. He's an absolutely brilliant character.

Wow. 0.0 That's... expensive.
The Rifleman is free to stream on Hulu; about half of the episodes are on there. It's a Western, so a lot of the villains die, but there's a heart in that show that I've never seen in any other Western.

Haha it was so sweet. I'm such a fangirl.

So, Addy, you got to this thread before I did and now I don't know what's left to say. Though you should have put {Spoiler} Arthur's death in a spoiler tag. I do also like the Bill Bixby/Lou Ferigno Incredible Hulk, Voyagers! from 1982 with Jon-Erik Hexum and Meeno Peluce (little known, but awesome), Leave it to Beaver, Andy Griffith (though I've seen it all so many times I'm kind of tired of it now), and Disney XD's Lab Rats (yes, it's stupid and I don't like how the kids are mean to each other, but I still like the show). And because I can't let my sister be the one to rave about Doctor Who for our family, it's so awesome! Ten is best, and Rose is my favorite companion. I like Eleven's episodes, but I think the seasons overall had pacing issues. Plus Steven Moffat isn't as good at emotional stuff as Russell T. Davies. And I do like Twelve. And Classic. Five is my favorite Classic, followed by Three.

Has anyone seen the Sons Of Liberty miniseries? I haven't yet, but I would like to. I don't watch a lot of TV or movies, though.

I've seen Sons of Liberty. Personally, I loved it. (It's a TV show I forgot to add to my list.) I even pre-ordered the DVDs and then watched them again with my mom who also loved it. Obviously, parts of it are highly fictionalized, but it was still really well made. Then again, I love almost anything that has to do with the RevWar or Colonial times. As a warning though, there are a few instances of strong language and two scenes I skipped.

I love the Magic School Bus. Never had to skip anything there. Well, except for the dinosaur episode because of the evolution, we skip that. But it's a clean show.

Did you get to see Beyond The Mask? (Am I supposed to ask that in the movie thread?)

Did you get to see Beyond The Mask? (Am I supposed to ask that in the movie thread?) My Mum and I did. We liked it - the plot and everything, and the main dude did a good job. But to be honest, I could not stand the main girl. At all. And I was rather disappointed that the faith strand wasn't more noticable... But it was a clean, good movie, by homeschoolers, so I shouldn't complain at all! =D As I said, I did enjoy it, and would like to see it again. =) Anyone watching "Poldark" that's on tv right now?

I don't watch tv.
We have for seasons of The Way of the Master though. It's not in the same category as anything anyone else mentioned, but it's still TV.
We used to have Get Smart. It's hilarious. But not he best thing to spend time on. And we had Thunderbirds. Some episodes have a plot. Also sometime it gave me bad dream when I was younger.

I know! It's such an amazing story idea... I can't wait. And it's written by one of Adventures in Odyssey's writers. And it has professional actors, and... I can't wait.
