so if you girls are writing a scene in a far off land, with a folk era feel, do you try to listen to music from that time and or place? you know just to get the feel of what it's like to live there?

Aiden about the petitions, I meant to say side effect. It's that I've got thank you emails from two senators in the last week. ETA: Sometimes I listen to music for my writing but not often. It can't exactly be from that time and place either, since I'm writing about imaginary places.

Ehhh, I don't like being referenced in the term "you girls" especially when said by guys - it's happened before and I've reacted thusly. It's one of those things that irks me. haha XD So please yourself with the knowledge that I am still deigning to reply to the question even though you've insulted royalty. Nope, I listen to no music...seems like a good idea for that reason, but I just don't. I need to be "in the zone" and music doesn't aid me for that.

Brie D WOW! cool! BladeSpinnerRae and rayray I do apologize, I didn't mean to offend you. I was just using proper English. But I probably should have said 'Ladies' instead of 'Girls'

It's fine! It isn't offensive, but especially today it sounds really creepy, to me anyways.

It's hard to explain, it is proper grammar so I don't know.

xD I saw a pin that said, "I don't care if you're a boy or girl, I'm calling you dude." and I was like, "Yes!" cause I do that all the time.

Haha, I wasn't offended for real; you don't need to apologize Aiden. I guess I do prefer "you guys" in terms...*shrug*. I don't know really how to explain why I don't care for "you girls" - it makes the person saying it seem so...'superior' and, *wrinkles nose*...I don't know. XD It's hard to explain. But don't worry bout it! I know you're not saying it in a superior way (or are you?! Haha just kidding).

I wasn't BladeSpinnerRae maybe it's cuz of this word that you don't like it.... Feminist. Yup I said it, your a feminist and want to run with the rest of the boys so you want to be referred to as a 'guys' (naa I am just kidding, but maybe it does have something to do with Feminism)

Oh yes, Aiden, I am definitely a feminist. Everything about me just screams that. But no, to make myself more clear, it'd be like me saying to you and a group of your friends, "If you boys do something, do you do this?" That term just sounds condescending, or as if you're in charge of a posse/collection of girls, and that is just creepy. To quote Jane Eyre "I am not a bird, no cage enslaves me" And on another subject...*dances around* I don't have any schoolwork or homework. XD I do feel your guys' pain though. Brie D, I love your new profile picture!

BladeSpinnerRae I don't have a problem with "if you boys" but what if I said instead of using girls I used Ladies? well I don't hate my homework it's sometimes it's just a lot of it and it gets annoying

Aiden - "Ladies" is fine, or whatever - truly, I'm not that concerned about it. ^.^ Very neat, Brie D! I like the names

Rizzetti isn't exactly a real italian name, but Rizzo, Ricci and Ricchetti and mean curly, as in curly hair. Acqui is relted to water. And they're half brother and sister.
