I've always wanted to do NaNo successfully, but God always has different plans for me. So, nope, I'm not even planning on attempting it this year, but I hope it goes well for you and anyone else who is!!

It's the month they chose. It can also be rather busy.
Probably not. I'll be keeping rough track of my word count though and I may decide to do it. The only thing that is certain is that I won't be starting a new book.

I'm doing NaNo, because that's what I do. I'm going rebel again this year, though, and continuing work on LADY DRAGON, TELA DU, because I know that's what all of my fans would like from me. I'm not sure why they chose November, (maybe because it started with a Nove to go with Novel?), but I do know that it's awesome. If you win (succeed in hitting the wordgoal of 50,000 words in a month), you get some cool discounts for some awesome writing products, as well as free copies of your book from CreateSpace or Lulu.

xD *dashes in, panting* I'm doing it! Starting a new, sci-fi-ish fantasy novel. I'm trying to decide if I want to go all-out crazy and try (for my first time) doing 50,000 with NaNoWriMo, or stay with a lower wordcount and use Young NaNoWriMo again (which you can set your own wordcount for).

I'm going with NaNo, and shooting for 50K! I'll be working on my story Where Loyalties Lie, about Carson and Jaime and Liam and... other people It's my first year, and I'm super excited but also very nervous Feel free to add me as a buddy (and nagging if I'm not writing is never unwelcome...) I'm @sparrowsoaring.

Thank you! I'm super excited to write it, and the waiting a whole month to start thing is really working, cuz it gives me time to mull over it instead of just sitting down with a vague idea. Also, I read your synopsis and Project Z sounds really cool!

I'm not ready, either! 0.0
I won't be writing on the first, either, because it's a Sunday, and we don't use the computers on Sundays. (Plus, we're usually gone for much of the Sunday.)
Who all is staying up 'til midnight? I've done this many times, and it's awesome, but unfortunately, I won't be doing it this year, since I have to get up early on the first, to go to church... Ah, well.
