Okay so this time on Movie Talk I'll be talking about a Disney movie call... John Carter! Now if you haven't seen the movie it is basically this. A Virginian solder is accidentally transported to mars where, thank to the lower gravity of the planet, is given superhuman strength. He also faces off an evil alien race that is trying to take over mars. Now if you haven't seen it here are some warnings. 1) they do sware, but nothing to bad 2) the main girl at times is dressed a little to revealing 3) there is blood in it. Mind you it is blue but one guy gets his arm choped off (still it is not to graphic but really little childern my be more sensitve to that) 4) there is mentioned two moon gods at a wedding and the goddess of mars. 5) there are four armed aliens that only wear a lowing cloth, but they are not are not graphically designed, they are actually quite good looking green Martians 6) if there is anything i missed Now this movie is a PG-13 Disney film and one that is highly underestimated. A little back story to John Carter. At the time of printing it was the first off-world novel ever written. When i watched it i had my little brother and sister with me, they didn't mind the blood, in fact John Carter has become a family favorite of ours. Now depending on what kind of movies you what this my be either a nice change in space adventure or you won't like it. Yea it's one of those movies where. It's either liked casualty or not liked. If you've seen it let me know what you thought about it down below

In what why rayray? You know guys Movie talk is a thread where anyone can start up a conversation about any movie they want. It doesn't have to be just my comments and opinions. Everyone can talk about older movies, talk about a new movie they saw and wether the like it or dislike it. you know that kind of stuff

It's about a man who is forced to be a gladiator. Yup, it was so good, but I cried.

Gladiator was a good movie, mind you it had some things in it that where not good, but in the end everything turned out right. But I have to say it is more of an adult movie then a kid and teen movie

Yah, I watched it with my bro and then found out my dad wanted me to wait to watch it, but oh well. I just won't re-watch it for a while. It was so sad anyway. I need more time to get over it.

I don't do those kind of movies that make you cry a lot. I like more Marvel movies I think.

Same. X men is what I watch now though. I would watch those movies, but I don't like the tragedy of it all.

I apparently don't watch a lot of movies.... Well, there are a handful of English BBC that we love. Wives and Daughters, North and South, Sense and Sensibility, Northanger Abbey, Mansfield Park, you know...those kind. Anybody else like these? And has anybody seen Eagle Eye? We watch that one semi frequently. I think there's some swearing and a part or two we forward, but the plot is pretty exciting.

I'll have to ask my dad about it, although I am not a huge fan of Shia LaBeouf. He was ok in The Greatest Game Ever Played, but in Transformers, ugh.
@ramulas, have you watched the x-men, or do you watch the dc super hero movies?

Because of the Hell Fire Club. They are the nastiest, weridest, and down right uglyest, clud in the X-Men universe! If you didn't notice there was a lot of nesty part in X-Men First class. Heck there is that seen when all the girls are walking around the culd in there underwear. And the story was not done well. It was so far off of the X-Men First class comics. Why do you like it?
