Here you can brag about whatever tome you are currently eating reading. I'm currently making my way through Only a Novel by Amy Dashwood. I've been meaning to read it for a couple years now. I'm quite enjoying it.

Ooh, I enjoyed that book. I think I shall take that as a sign that I ought to, now that I finished OaN last night, finish reading Second Son, the sequel to your book, because I won it in a giveaway last year, but haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

Oh I want to read "Only a Novel"! It sounds good. I'm reading/editing Shantelle's book "Silver Rose" currently. It's very, very good. =)

I'm actually not reading any fiction at the moment. I am listening to an audio book of The History of Holland. Last month I finally finished Macaulay's History of England from the Accession of James II. It only about 110 hours long. I'd been listening to it for about a year. I'll probably read some more stories next month when I'm not doing NaNo.

Still making my way, slowly but surely, through Second Son. Is it any good? I finished Kings Warrior and liked it, but sometimes the sequels don't quite add up to the first book. ~Epic~

It's actually a prequel, and it covers a far greater period of time than KW. There's a bit more telling than showing because of the stretched timeline. Go ahead and read it, but be aware that it's basically a book of backstory.

I'm not sure how much I would enjoy that, I really prefer to delve into the characters more than the backstory but since I really did like Kings Warrior I will (at some point) give it a go. Thanks! ~Epic~

I also was reading the The Scarlet Pimpernel, and related books because we watched it recently. I'm technically reading The Scarlet Pimpernel too, since practically everybody says it's fantastic. But I think I'm reading it too slowly when I'm too tired because I'm just not getting why. I should probably start over. I'm also reading The Overton Window, again slowly, there's a little language and the romance seems like it's going to be superficial, ugh, but it's been sitting in my room waiting to be read for like a year. I'm also reading The Dragon of London because FLOYD! And it was on sale not long ago. That one I started last night and am already 55% done. Course, it's the shortest, but it's also the one I currently like best.

If any of you like audio books you can get The Scarlet Pimpernel, from librivox.org The version read by Karen Savage is probably best. I listened to the dramatic, but it isn't as good a quality.

I'm reading The Death Cure by James Dashner from The Maze Runner Trilogy (TDC is the third book in the trilogy). The books are really good! I have a whole pinterest board on the books.

I just read The Forest at the Edge of the World and Soldier at the Door, by Trish Mercer. I really liked them. Good message great characters and setting and plot. They were free on Amazon and probably still are. I recommend them to anyone who thinks about what's going on in the world a lot. ETA: You can get them free at forestedgebooks.com/books/

Well now I'm going to get a chance to love it. Our library is quite useful. They have a system for suggesting books. Most of the books I've asked for they've gotten. It's a good way to read more books. There are lots of books that I've enjoyed but don't want to keep rereading. Of course there are also books that go onto my 'I want to own that' list.

That's so nice about your library! What a blessing. I love our library, but it doesn't purchase many books that I request -they don't buy many self-published books which is a shame. =/
