Who enjoyed the endearing and yet often difficult story of Will? I did. After meeting him in TPDP, it was neat to get to read about his life. Some aspects of the story were fun to figure out in advance... {Spoiler for Every Tear} ...Such as who the woman stalking him was...
...And what the "revealed by glass" part of the clue was. I guessed that almost immediately, but was unable to figure out what the metal might be. I must confess I wondered if the clue might be found by holding the word "metal" or the name of a specific type of metal up to a mirror to reveal the name of an island in mirror-image - but the word "metal" itself didn't fit that criterion.
And the ending was very sweet. I so highly respected Will for waiting so patiently and honorably to talk to Daniel and to Skye. And the sunset!
I do believe that this story ends satisfactorily, but that didn't stop me from immediately starting on A Captain's Heart the moment I finished...

I loved it, of course. I've loved every one of Jaye/Molly's books. I really liked finding out about Will's backstory. {Spoiler for Every Tear} And I loved that he still had family. I love the James family, especially Emma, and I liked how she was trying to imitate him. She wanted to be like her big brother. It's just an all round good book. Maybe a little repetitive of TPDP, but still fantastic. I read a large portion of it at Home Depot.

I went to Home Depot right after finishing it. {Spoiler for Every Tear} Yes! His family was amazing! I was glad they were all so sweet, loving, and kind. Emma was adorable and hilarious. His family was almost "too perfect," but it WAS perfect.
