Emma. Lovable, and now she's grown up and has her own ship. This may have been one of my favorite Pirates stories, even though it's less complicated than the others. There aren't as many "danger" situations, but the struggles in Emma's soul are real and very easy to relate to. She's not as "perfect" as many of the other characters in previous stories; she has repeated conflicts with her own self-will, independence, loyalty, love, and temper. I related to her quite well with her reluctance to move into relationships and her desire to stand alone and could also relate as she was slowly changed, even outside of her volition. {Spoiler for FF} The moment Justin stepped into the story, I knew he would be Emma's... so then I was just waiting for them to meet... The wagon scene was great.

{Spoiler for FF} I couldn't believe that no one except the pirate thought of the fact that Mr. Stillwell lived in a mansion with new renovations while Justin was homeless. I thought of that immediately. I would have thought that a lawyer would have noticed that too when they were all so desperate for proof...
But I knew that Emma and the pirate would save the day. It was quite clever how the pirate managed to slip in and give testimony and escape without being caught!
I did wonder why he did it though. (Of course he had to for the story's sake - but what about from his perspective?) Did he just like Emma that much? Why?

I love Finding Faith. Emma is so me. And as much as I love TPDP and ET, I felt like the storyline of FF was better developed.
