Librivox doesn't exactly have audio dramas, but it does have some pretty good readings. And It's awesome.
Including me. I go by Bria Snow there.
We have quite a few 'Dramatic Readings' where each character is read by a different person. Because anyone can volunteer the quality is not always great. Also we have to leave in all the 'He said, she saids'. Some of them are still pretty cool though. If anyone want's recommendations for readers I can give them.

I signed up, but haven't actually done any reading for them. I bought a mic for it and everything, and then didn't get around to it. It's not that hard, I know, but I just haven't found the time!
But I did a lot of reading with Libravox a couple years ago when I was hooked on my MP3 player.

It does take time. There are some pretty little thing available. I'm in need of voices for my Dramatic Bible Stories. I mostly need male voices now though.

My little brother, Sir Noble, listens to G.A. Henty with Librivox audio books. He adores them.

You're the second person I've met whose younger brother listens to G A Henty on LibriVox. I've listened to a few myself and my own younger brothers started one. Do you know that there are some people producing Henty audio dramas? They're really good.

I liked the books better than the Henty audio dramas... there were too many changes in the dramas. (Including the main character's NAME in In Freedom's Cause - I couldn't get past that one.) Still, they were good for what they were.

I've never actually liked G.A. Henty very much. The first one I listened to was "In the Reign of Terror." That one was good, but they're all very, very similar, so after the first, it gets a bit monotonous.

In the Reign of Terror is my favorite of all the 50 or 60 I've read. And I enjoyed most of them. The basic plot was predictable in many of them, but there were enough clever escapes and witty methods of fighting to keep them interesting. And every once in a while, one of them is quite different. (The Cat of Bubastes, Beric the Briton, With Lee in Virginia, and other non-medieval books, for instance.)

Still, they were good for what they were. Me too. Fortunately they're leaving the names right for With Lee in Virginia. My favorite is St Bartholemew's Eve. The LibriVox one is done by good reader. One of my friends on LV is planning on doing a dramatic reading of The Cornet of Horse, which is her favorite. She goes by Adele de Pignerolles which is the name of the girl in it.

They've put out a podcast with lots of people singing an anniversary song and talking about things. I never quite got around to doing anything for it. They also have a collection of a hundred short piece with 10 in the name.

I remember that one. I think one of my best ones is in the First Chapter collection though. If you would like some reader recommendation, Abigail Rasmussen is good.
