Ok as you probably know, I like learning what people like and stuff. So I was kind of excited with my new idea for this thread. This is what you will do. 1: Your age 2: Your Name 3: Your favorite Snack 4: Your favorite animal 5: What you like to do Then once you answer all those you can write whatever you want. And if there is something you don't want to share on the list that is Okay. Then people can talk about the stuff. Okay here I go. 1: I am 13 2: My name is Serena 3: My favorite snack is candy 4: My favorite animal is a Tiger 5: I like to Hunt, Climb Trees, Read, Do stuff with my friends, Stuff outside I have shot one deer. It was a doe, I shot it with a Gun, right through the middle of the heart. I now have went bow hunting , and I'm going to do some more bow hunting soon. Hopefully. I can climb trees pretty good. not quite as good as my friends but they are allot smaller then me.

What kind of bow do you shoot? Like longbow or compound bow? or something of the sort.

I Have a pretty nice compound bow. It is not really mine but all the draw length and stuff is set up for me and I shoot it and use it for hunting so I just call it mine. I have some throwing knifes too, and a dagger, plus abunch of knifes. I have a hatchet but it is broken.

Nice ninjaserena! I have a compact bow, but have only used it at a target bag, not hunting. And yay for throwing knives, daggers and just knives in general! Does your throwing knife look like these: ? I have one of those, but I prefer other knives for throwing - more sturdier ones.

100% yes to dragons and lynx's and other big cats!!! And swordfighting with just about anything. My sister and I once enjoyed a grueling duel in the middle of a Walmart aisle. I thought no one was watching (silly me), but apparently some teenage guys were...it made us laugh quite heavily. ^.^

1: I'm a HSchooler
2: My favorite snack..hmm. I don't know.. Fries, pizza, homemade apple pie.
3: I've never had one favorite animal, but dolphins and elephants are high on the list. (As others put, Dragons would be high up there to.)
4: I love to be on Pinterest, write, read, dream, do genealogy (I'm a big history lover), I raft, hunt (bow and gun), hike, and am a mountaineer (I did Mt. Rainier this summer).
I would love how to throw knives. It looks like so much fun!

Elephants, yes! I love them. And yes, I've been knife-throwing for about 8 years now and it is very enjoyable and not very hard. Aiming just right can take some time, but throwing and sticking it is pretty simple!

BladeSpinnerRae that's so cool! A girl that can throw knives - love it! And you've been throwing for a long time, so you're obviously serious. I can respect that. Little bit about me: I'm 23. Name's Janice. Favorite snack...hmm..guess I'm a bit of a health-nut. So I'm going to go with veggie-burgers. Favorite animal would have to be a raccoon. Love watching boxing - would love to learn that someday. Maybe even cage-fighting!

Elephants, yes! I love them. And yes, I've been knife-throwing for about 8 years now and it is very enjoyable and not very hard. Aiming just right can take some time, but throwing and sticking it is pretty simple! For me it is kind of the other way around. it seems easy yo aim but difficult to stick it in the tree. Is there a certain way to throw it to get it in the tree?

ninjaserena Well, it can depend on how far you stand from the tree - it's just kind of an experiment. The knife has to go a full rotation to stick, so that the blade is pointing forward. I usually stand back enough to throw two rotations. It can be a hit or miss kind of thing, unfortunately. Also, the force with which you throw it could weigh into the problem too, and the tree bark - if it's impossibly hard, etc. The friend who introduced the hobby to me said that it helped to 'water down' the log/tree, especially in winter, so it's softer. Do you have a tomahawk? It's great to start out with that, just to get the feel of it and know when a knife would stick right. The tomahawks are probably easier to throw, at least I think so.
