BladeSpinnerRae our library didn't used to get self published books, but they seem to have relaxed their policy.

I just let out an Author squeel - this will be the first library beyond my own, that I know of, to get any of my books!

Yay!
I really need to figure out what to read next. I finished Second Son, and now I'm not sure. I'm bouncing between Time Cat by Llyod Alexander, or digging something off of my kindle ... I really need to finish the Five Slippers collection. I loved the first three stories, and then got distracted.

well I haven't really had a chance to read much because of school, but outside of Resistance, Half-Blood, and the beginning of The King's Scrolls I have finely finished reading Grey Griffins The Clockwork Chronicles by J. S. Lewis, Derek Benz. It was pretty cool with a Steampunk/Fantasy feel to it. Have any of you heard of it?

I went to the library yesterday and brought home some fairy tale retellings. Probably shouldn't have, but I only got two, so it should be fine.

My sister (Erin) is really into reading so we often look up Christian books on Amazon and blogs and such.

Well i know one of the writer's of th Grey Griffins is a Christian (i think the other is too but i don't know for srue) the thing is that even if they are Christians there is nothing about God in their books (that why i call it a worldly book) i mean they have some evidence that hints at a Christian but that is as far as it goes. Personally i thought they where pretty cool (i don't remember if there was anything super ugly besides goblins and gargoyles) but i really would have liked if it was more then kind-of-Christian. One of the reasons i liked it was because it had a superheroish feel to if that i (so far) haven't found in any Christian book.

I'm not really bothered by people getting stabbed and shot and blood when I read so they shouldn't bother me. Like when I read The Maze Runner Trilogy there was a lot of blood and stuff but it gives you more of a real live feel from my point of view.

I have read the Maze Runner trilogy but I decided not to watch the movie so I can't say how far off the movie was. I recently finished the Mark of the Thief and now am trying to decide what to read next.

Well, I'm a just-go-read-wikipedia gal, so ... yeah. I have issues.
I am now reading Ivy's Ever After by Dawn Lairamore. I brought it home because it looked like a Fairy Tale Retelling, but it's more of a spoof. Oh well, I don't care. I'm enjoying it!

I'm now reading "Until My Name is Known" by Sonya Contreras. It's Biblical fiction of the account of Moses. It's pretty good so far. I only have a couple more review books to get through before I can read something off my own shelf without having to review it - that'll feel good. ^.^

Oh, these all sound awesome! I just started Hickory Dickory Death by Agatha Christy. I've never read any of her books before so this should be interesting.

Cool! Is it like the charlton heston Mouses movie? Hmm, can't say for sure as I haven't seen The Ten Commandments (at least that I remember), but it is the Biblical account, so I am sure it is similar.
