I am now reading Half-Blood by Jaye L. Knight. She is a wonderful writer! I highly recommend her! As if this wasn't her forum. I haven't got to read it yet.

Squeel! FairyTaleArista the library is getting the Bookania Quests! I just finished reading Sew to my brothers, so I'm glad. I'll probably let them read them themselves this time.

Cool! Is it like the charlton heston Mouses movie? Hmm, can't say for sure as I haven't seen The Ten Commandments (at least that I remember), but it is the Biblical account, so I am sure it is similar. Well the movie is way off from the biblical account. And to add the movie is like 6 hours long!

It's simply written, but it's got a good message.

There are plenty of books out there that tell fairly accurate stories of Bible people. Of course they usually make assumptions on some minor things, but that really can't be helped. One story I read was about Caleb and the author had gotten him mixed up with a different Caleb. He had the brothers and wives and children of both of them.

My favourites are by Tessa Afshar. Oh my, that is...well, sad, but also somewhat humerous about the whole Caleb thing. ^.^

I just finished The King's Scrolls! It was really good, but also sad. I'll be starting Half-Blood next.

Rereading Ishmael by E.D.E.N. Southworth. That book is so good!
(I believe it's free on Amazon Kindle.)

I'm now about to begin "The Pharaoh's Daughter" by Mesu Andrews. I think I've read that one (or at least a book of that title, but the author's name sounds right). It's kinda weird, and not quite Biblically accurate. Though I do like the point it raises in that Exodus doesn't actually name the sister who was watching over baby Moses.

FairyTaleArista Well, I don't think it was the same book you read - the sister that watched over Moses in this one was Miriam. And it was semi-Biblically accurate. I liked it, but I didn't adore it - I had several concerns about it, and there was some really graphic points that I was uncomfortable with. =/ The writing was excellent, but there were just some parts...=/

All this talk about Moses books reminds me of The Pillar of Fire.
