LadyErika I said thank you for telling me about Jill Williamson's free audio books. Now I'm also slightly annoyed. I've already finished it and I'm hooked. I wish she'd recorded Book 3 as well even if it wasn't free. She reads so well.

You're welcome. And sorry for the annoyance. I wished the same... But I ended up buying the kindle book for Book 3 to finish the story. And I never buy the next book in a series if I only read the first one because I got it free... So it's saying something about how interested I was and how good I thought the story was - that I actually purchased a book just to find out what happens! And let me say it's worth it. Book Three was unquestionably my favorite. The author ends it so well! It was perfect... there's one part in Book 3 I've read over and over, and one part in Book 2 I've listened to over and over because it ties in with the ending in Book 3, and I wanted to hear her read it. (Reading Book 3 made me realize how slow listening was though... because I read in large chunks without stopping much. When I listen, I usually have to stop sometimes.) But I agree - she reads well, and I'd buy Book 3 if it was an audiobook.

She has a monthly give-away on her website so perhaps I'll get it there. Free kindle books and Project Gutenberg and Librivox and being able to suggest books to the library have spoiled me. I now hate spending money on books.

@ladyerika, I read the Blood of Kings trilogy this year!! Just finished From Darkness Won yesterday! There were some things that I'm not sure what to think about; but overall, I adored this series!!! ninjaserena, ahhh! I didn't know you were reading the Christy Miller series! Wait, maybe I did. How are you liking it? BladeSpinnerRae, Annabeth's War is really good!! And I'm sooo excited to read The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest by Melanie Dickerson! I have it requested at the library!! As of now, I'm reading a book by E. Kaiser Writes. Jeweler's Apprentice I think it's called, They are pretty good, i'm enjoying them, but i don't really like Christy. *wispers sorry to all the Christy fans*

I'm currently reading Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer. It's pretty good. Very funny (like haha funny) but you know I have a weird sense of humor.

ninjaserena, you silly girl! Why don't you like Christy? She's immature? Probably. A bit whiny? Hmm, perhaps. I can't really remember all that much. But she does learn and grow! The Married Years are the best ever so far! Drum roll indeed! Are you still reading The Ryn, or something else? As for myself, I am reading The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest by Melanie Dickerson!!!! So exciting!!! I'm QUITE enjoying it! Just love Melanie's fairytale retellings, Can't wait to read her one of Rapunzel!! Hey, did you guys know she's coming out with a Regency spy series? Is that awesome, or what?

Maybe I should read one of her books sometime... still not done "Letter Perfect"- I'm slow, I know. School has a lot to do with it, though! I was reading it last night, and I was all creeped out about that poisoning stuff... Things are always scarier at night you know! But I'm kind of a wimp. XD

I wanted to read some of her Fairytale retellings but I got the impression that they were romance novels and most romance novels are not appropriate for kids/teens so I dropped it.

@dame Tashawna, whoa, poisoning stuff? How come I'm not remembering that?? Hopefully it wasn't too creepy! As for Melanie Dickerson's books ... you'll have to try them out someday! @lionesslauren, I think Melanie Dickerson's novels are like YA romance. I think most of them would be appropriate for sixteen and up, but some maybe more eighteen and up. There is kissing and whatnot, but probably nothing more dramatic then what's on Once Upon a Time (you watch that, right?). And Melanie Dickerson is a Christian, so there's no inappropriate happenings, and there's usually a meaningful faith theme! I don't know. I love them. But I'm eighteen ... so maybe they're for a little bit older audience. *shrugs*

You could read A Time to Die, by Nadine Brandes. It's an epic book! And so is A Time to Speak, but it's not officially released until the sixteenth...

ninjaserena, I understand, I quite understand. Hehe, I love how you put that. Rick was kind of a jerk. Christy maybe should have punched him, But yes, Todd is nice! Aw, sad day. Just keep reminding her to read it! That is quite terrible that you don't have anything to read. Hmmm ... Annabeth's War? That's on the kindle on the computer. What else. You should remind me of what I have on my shelf at home, and I'll tell you if you can read any of those! Yes, you definitely need to read the OUT OF TIME series by Nadine Brandes someday! They're epic!!!!

shantellemary, someone had got poisoned in the past, not right then. Kind of mysterious... so it wasn't that bad, but it was nighttime, and it was just kind of creepy!

@dametashawna, okay, I see. And I totally get it! I had to stop reading a book at night ( The Choosing by Rachelle Dekker), but in the day time, it was fine! I did actually end up skimming some of the creepy scenes either way in the end though. @lionesslauren, yeah, it would probably be best to wait until sixteen or older. I think I was around seventeen when I started reading them. Reading Buttermilk Sky by Jan Watson now ... and loving it! FANTASTIC, charming, engaging historical!!

But the problem is I do not like reading on the computer. I like reading in my bed.

ninjaserena, Letter Perfect might be okay for you to read. You'd have to ask Mom. Fancy Pants is for a bit older of an audience I think. Thunder and Catching Fire are too violent for what you're used to, my dear!! Besides, you haven't read The Hunger Games yet. How about Little Women? Or Anne of Green Gables? You gotta read at least a few classics! Little House on the Prairie series? You're probably old enough to read Roses for Mama by Janette Oke. (Ask Mom). Remember you liked The Calling of Emily Evans? Goodness, I'll try to get some more teen books on my shelf for you to read!!!! (Bringing home almost the whole Christy Miller series, you know ... Then of course, you don't like Christy!! Haha.) You should get a kindle. It allows you to collect cheap and free books, and then you don't have to read on the computer!

I just finished Failestate by John W. Otte (last time i checked it was still a free eBook if you want to check it out) it was about a vigilante named Failestate who is trying to get a superhero license. Along the way he uncovers a villains pain that could destroy over half the worlds population. It was a pretty good book and i enjoyed some aspects of it. Oh but he warned there is a love triangle in it (i doubt any of you.would have a problem with that thought) so if you what check it out. It may still be a free eBook

Thanks! I got it. Having a Kindle is so great for all the free books. Do you have one, or no? I saved up $ and got mine from a Russian family - they spoke Russian and all. It was quite interesting.
