@ramulus, you're welcome! I hope you enjoy them! BladeSpinnerRae, yeah ... I'm not much for gruesomeness and extreme violence. You need to read The King's Scrolls!!!!! I've read Resistance, The King's Scrolls, and Half-Blood, and am soooo dying to read Samara's Peril! I own the paperbacks of the first two books as well ... which are gorgeous by the way! I need to buy Half-Blood now!

I know I do, shantellemary!! I cannot wait, but alas, I must. And yes, Aiden Paperback is always much better than ebook. I kinda dislike ebooks, but that was how I was first able to read "Resistance" so I'm glad for that.

I don't own any of them, but I have the library copies in my room right now. If our library didn't take suggestions, I'd probably haven't not read them at all. They don't seem to be at the moment, so I haven't gotten to read half blood.

That really is so nice that your library has them, Bria! I hope they'll get Half-Blood soon!

I'm reading Glenda of Oz. Finally. Oz is fun. And often weird.

That's probably true Aiden. I can usually get through a 200-300 page book in a couple days, unless I'm not interested...which is the case right now. *Sigh* I love books and I hate them. Okay, maybe not hate, but I'm worn out on reviewing books, but I have a problem where I can't say no. XP

That's cool, RayRay! I'd be happy if I had time to read it in even a week's length. The most pages I've read in one day was probably a book that wasn't actually great, but I couldn't put it down, and it was about 500 pages. I cringe to think that I wasted a whole day on that book since it wasn't the best, but oh well.

If any of you are interested, a dear author friend of mine is having a giveaway for an ecopy of her debut novel, "Not Abandoned" right now on my blog. I've read the book more than once, and can definitely recommend it. I'd suggest for ages 14+ because it deals with human trafficking. It's written from a very Christian perspective, and is quite an exciting story! You can check out the giveaway here: godspeculiartreasurerae.wordpress.com/2015/10/19/weve-got-a-give-away-folks/

Ahh, that makes sense when you said you were taking a break before your break ended. What are you going for? I have no idea what or if I will go.

Interesting! Sorry I go this off topic, back to books! I just let my sister read Creighton Hill and she is dying to read Crossways! So glad I got it for the blog tour.

Oh that is nice, rayray! Blog tours can be very fun. I like the ones by self-published authors I know through the online community, the best. I'm part of several for like, publishers and whatever, but they're not very exciting...just reviewing the book with no connection to the author usually. Which can be nice, like if I didn't like the book... Right now I'm reading "Vendetta" by Lisa Harris. It's very good, very informative, and pretty scary alltogether.

I took a break from the book I was reading and am reading some Christy Miller books. I'm reading Starry Night right now. And it's not like I don't like the other book... just taking a break for familiar, easy reads.

I just finished "Kate's Innocence" by Sarah Holman (she's a homeschool grad self-pub author), which was very good, and now I'm on to "The Golden Braid" by Melanie Dickerson, which I am SO excited about. It's a retelling of Rapunzel, and she throws knives!! <3

I read the princess spy and I hated it. It didn't have much action to me.

I read that one too, and I didn't hate it, but it was a bit dull. Definitely not my favourite. But then I read Melanie Dickerson's "The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest" and that was superb, so I'm interested in reading more of her books. And I am definitely liking "The Golden Braid" - the setting and feel of it is really nice in my opinion, and I really like Rapunzel. For me, it really makes a difference if I bond with the main character or not. I couldn't really in "The Princess Spy" so that, among other things, made it not a favourite for me.

I'm reading the Virtues and Valour series. They're WW2 stories that are pretty good. They're all intertwined and overlapping. They may still be free on Kindle.
